Follow that fabulous line down Frei Caneca to one of São Paulo’s most popular clubs. Highly recommended on Thursdays and Sundays.
Rua Frei Caneca 916

Tue – Sat 12AM until Closing
Sundays from 10PM until Closing
The queen of clubs continues to reign over the area known as Frei Caneca (or as the locals call it “Gay Caneca.”) Ten years ago, A Lôca was much more twink-heavy, and that reputation continues. However, today’s crowd is much more mixed, and if you are over 30, you’ll be in good company. Over the years, A Lôca has also grown more adventurous musically, with awesome DJs working its cave-live dance floors with styles like electro-pop and “flash house” to name a few.
Doors open at midnight, except on Sundays when entrance starts at 8PM. However 2AM is the perfect time to enter after having a late dinner and enjoying the sidewalk scene at Bar da Lôca.
