Follow the trail of broken bottles and solicitous transgender prostitutes up Rua Bento Freitas until you reach the red neon sign for “L’Amour.”  Hangout for a bit with the alternative crowd on the sidewalk before you head inside.

Parties at L’Amour are always mixed with a sexually-fluid crowd of hipsters.  Every Friday and Saturday, guest DJs keep the creative crowd moving with eclectic beats.  Unfortunately, L’Amour can’t be bothered to maintain a website or a Facebook page.  We recommend Tenda, a roaming party which frequently packs the sweaty interior of L’Amour until dawn.
