At the top of most tourist guides to São Paulo, Parque Ibirapuera (as it is known in Portuguese) continues to charm its visitors with panoramic views, tranquil walking paths, and nearly a mile of space for outdoor activities.
There is one activity in the park that may be of interest to gay men. (No, that sort of activity is more popular in the shadowy forests of Parque Trianon.) Admirers of the male form should look for shirtless guys practicing mahamudra, a form of Tibetan Buddhist yoga. (See the sexy photo above courtesy of Mahamudra Brasil.)
To add a bit of culture to your visit, walk over to the Museum of Modern Art, or the Museo Afro Brasil. Both are well worth a visit and are located on the edge of Ibirapuera Park.
